Creating a stunning new single story extension and transforming a family’s living space
Brightside Renovations worked closely with the Golds family and their architect to create an extension that totally changed their downstairs living area with the addition of a new kitchen-diner and large bi-fold doors that helped create a seamless transition into their family garden.
A modern light-filled family home that maximises space.
The Golds family wanted to make significant changes to their home to help maximise the space and improve the functionality of the kitchen and downstairs living areas. Our aim was to craft a space full of light, so we installed 2 large skylights, whilst new bi-fold doors spanned the width of the rear extension, creating a wonderfully bright and modern space for the family to enjoy.
To help increase the available space, four chimney breasts and several load bearing walls were removed to open up the living area. The project was completed in 3 months and also featured a new utility room and washroom.
In addition to carrying out the extension, a large patio area was installed to allowed the Golds to enjoy family time not only inside, but outside too. We finished the project with a complete redecoration of entire three bedroom house.
