Reconfiguring internal spaces to create an extra bedroom and installing a top-spec kitchen
The brief was to create an extra bedroom by moving the kitchen into the large lounge - this freed up space in the property and helped maximise its value. The new kitchen units ran along one wall with a return and then we also installed a central island as well as creating a large larder for the client.
The building was listed so great care was taken to protect existing features and woodwork. We undertook alternations to the plumbing and did a full electrical test of the whole property that was signed off by the NICEIC governing body. We completed the project by fully redecorating the property and creating further space by moving and re-installing the boiler into the loft space.
High specification & bespoke finishes
Great care was taken with the finishing touches and elements such as the bespoke hand-crafted lighting in the kitchen made from copper piping - this helped give the space a modern and contemporary feel. Smart voice-controlled lighting was installed and the central heating was linked to the customer’s mobile phone for ease of use and ultimate comfort in the home.
